Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga

The woman born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta but better known by her stage name Lady Gaga, seemingly came from nowhere to take the pop world by storm. Honing her songwriting and performing skills in the clubs of New York’s Lower East Side, Lady Gaga was signed to Interscope Records on the recommendation of R& B star Akon, an artist that Gaga had been writing songs for. Lady Gaga soon exploded on to the scene with her debut album The Fame in August 2008 spear headed by the astonishing success of first two singles Just Dance and Poker Face.

Kiss

Kiss

Few bands capture the mythology of rock n roll better than Kiss. One of the most popular rock bands of all time, Kiss first appeared in New York in 1973 and rose to prominence thanks, in no small part to a phenomenal live show that incorporated fire breathing, smoking guitars, blood spitting and pyrotechnics. Founded by Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, Kiss had their major breakthrough with the 1975 live album, Alive! They followed this up with the two albums in 1976, first, Destroyer and then, Rock and Roll Over, both of which would go platinum. Blending a unique mix of hard rock and live theatrics Kiss drew heavily from fellow New Yorkers, The New York Dolls and Alice Cooper, to inspire their now world famous make up and costume designs. The album Dynasty in 1979 spawned the band’s biggest hit, the world wide smash, I Was Made for Lovin’ You. Few bands have such devoted following and a Kiss tour will sell out. Kiss tickets are seriously hot property and the Kiss 2010 UK tour will be no exception. So expect die hard fans to snap up Kiss tickets as soon as Kiss tour dates are annouced. The 2010 Kiss UK tour will be one of the live experiences of the year, so make sure you get your Kiss tickets here, now!

James

James

The Manchester veterans led by singer Tim Booth have been making music since the early 80s and were originally signed to Factory Records and supported none other than The Smiths. 25 years into their career, the band - arguably most famous for smash hit single 'Sit Down' - have overcome line and changes and break ups to return bigger and better than ever.
