Gorillaz
Born out of the fertile imaginations of Britpop wunderkind Damon Albarn and legendary cartoon artist Jamie Hewlett, Gorillaz are a virtual super group of musical pioneers who take their cues from the Keith Richards and live on the ledge beyond the edge. Eponymous debut name checked Clint Eastwood in its hit single, but for album two, Demon Days, Dennis Hopper and Shaun Ryder were drafted in to lend their vocal stylings to the project. Isle of Wight Festival
This legendary music festival takes place at Seaclose Park annually in mid-June and attracts some of the biggest and best names in live music.
